The Opportunity:

This position of AWS Cloud Associate / Architect is responsible for architecting and leading the technical roadmap and of a cloud-based platform offering SaaS solutions.
The candidate must have minimum 11-16 years of experience in architecting, designing and implementing large multitenant SaaS solutions (minimum – 5 years on AWS), responsible for architecting, designing, troubleshooting and improving the systems that keep the backend infrastructure running smoothly. The role requires you to have hands-on technical experience and a can-do approach towards environment automation / management and continuous improvement.
The role will encompass the use of a broad range of AWS technologies, DevOps, operating systems (Windows, Linux) and application environments (SQL Server, nginx, Cassandra, AWS Fargate, Elastic search, AWS Dynamo DB, Node JS, Lambda, Docker etc.), with an emphasis on the implementation of best practice cloud security principles.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are essential. Some international travel may be required from time to time.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Define technical roadmap for SaaS based solution running on AWS platform
• Leading architecture improvements, recommending process improvements
• Build foundational components and services to be used across various cloud based services
• System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains
• Implement data strategy for data management and mining
• Evaluate new technology options and vendor products
• Ensuring critical system security using best in class cloud security solutions

Must Have Skills:

• Total Experience 11-16 years (AWS: 5+ years’ experience with using a broad range of AWS technologies (e.g. EC2, RDS, API Gateway, Cassandra, Elastic Search, Serverless, DynamoDB, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch) to develop and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution.
• Chef (directly or via AWS OpsWorks), Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Salt or similar tools.
• Strong working experience in one / more of the languages - Node.js, Angular and Python
• DevOps: Jenkins, Supervisor, Ansible, Openshift, Tectonic, DataDog, NewRelic, Codeship, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker,JFrog, AWS CodePipeline,AWS CodeStar, Elastic BeanStalk etc.
• Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.

Desired Skills:

• DB Skills: Basic DB administration experience (Cassandra, SQL Server)
• Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile software development, project management methodologies
• Version Control: Experience administrating version control systems such as git and github workflows
• Networking: Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP)
• Professional commitment to high quality, and a passion for learning new skills
• Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn new concepts and technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills, including providing simple solutions to complex situations
• Must be a strong team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a geographically disperse working environment
• AWS certification and hand-on experience to Blue-Green deployment paradigm is a plus

Educational Requirements:

• B.Tech in Computer Science/Electronics or other equivalent technical discipline from a reputed Institute.
