Unit Information:

Adult Surgical Unit 700  

  Unit 700 is a 34 bed surgical telemetry unit specializing in the care of post-operative patients of many surgical specialties including vascular, urological, and general abdominal surgeries. The unit provides both pre-operative and post-operative care.  Patient education is focused on pain management, wound care, post hospital care , and patient focus to return to their optimal level of functioning. We have a competent and caring staff that consists of registered nurses, patient care technicians, certified nursing assistants and unit associates.  Our staff works in close collaboration with our physicians, nurse practitioners, case managers, pharmacists and many other members of the healthcare team to ensure individualized, quality patient care .

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:  Graduate from an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nurse or technical or vocational school.

EXPERIENCE:  Preferred two (2) years of practical nursing experience.

LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: LPN license permitting work in the state of Arizona and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Additional certifications may be required per department.
