POSITION: ADMISSION COUNSELOR- PROFESSIONAL SERVICES SPECIALIST III
LOCATION: ADMISSIONS
Job Summary : Under the coordination of the Director for First Year Admissions, the Admissions Counselor will attend recruitment events on and off campus along with managing communications via Slate CRM system. The Admissions Counselor will be an integral member of the team responsible for admissions event planning and recruiting of new incoming students. As a valuable member of the admissions team, the Admissions Counselor is responsible for a wide range of activities related to recruitment and enrollment of new undergraduate students. This position serves as a first point of contact for prospective students and their families, providing information and advisement on the admissions process, financial aid, academic programs, curriculum, student services programs, and the general educational, residential and extra-curricular environment at the college. The incumbent is expected to actively participate/promote the myriad of on and off-campus activities designed to recruit, admit, and yield an entering class for each program that align with institutional enrollment goals.
DUTIES:
EDUCATION: requires a Bachelor’s Degree.
EXPERIENCE: Professional experience in an institution of higher education required, admissions experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

· Ability to learn computer technology and university systems to access data, maintain
· Be proficient with computer technology (esp. PeopleSoft and Slate) to access data, maintain records, generate reports, and communicate with others
REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid New Jersey Driver’s license is required.
