The Transportation and Capacity Analyst I/II/III, Sr responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Transportation and Capacity Analyst will be responsible for nominations, confirmations, daily scheduling activities, imbalance management, and gas control communications for our gathering and transportation business. The Transportation and Capacity Analyst will be part of a cross-function team consisting of accounting, operations, internal gas measurement, and information technology.

Essential Duties:

        Coordinate customer activity with nominations, confirmations, and scheduling activities for natural gas and liquids

        Assist in the management of customer nominations and communication of customer nominations to members of the operations and business development teams

        Analyze measurement data showing physical flow of customer volumes from receipt points to delivery points on gathering systems and intra/interstate pipelines

        Track customer contractual volume requirements and actual flows versus nominations with shippers and pipelines

        Assist in the management of imbalances by monitoring and proactively managing shipper throughput and pipeline OBA positions

        Compile, monitor, and track maintenance activities from upstream, midstream, and downstream locations and effectively communicate potential impacts to customers

        Coordinate make-up and pay-back scheduled with customers and pipelines

        Track and analyze monthly producer/shipper volume statements, invoices, and imbalance statements

        Interface with Field Operations, Engineering, Measurement, Accounting, and IT for customer support on EQT Midstream technologies

        Assists the Midstream Services Sub-Department with Gas Control Center structure and organization to meet the business unit’s growing demands and project expansion including system monitoring and system optimization opportunities

Required/Preferred Experience and Skills:

        Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Engineering.

        2+ years of Transportation Services/Scheduling experience

        1-3 years of Natural Gas business, operations, engineering, and/or system dynamics of a natural gas pipeline system is preferred

        1-2 years of SCADA experience is highly preferred

        Experience using the Quorum TIPS or QPTM platforms is highly preferred

        Effective computer skills including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word

        Analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and logical testing skills are essential

        As nominations are scheduled daily, this position requires working some evening/weekend periods and working an on-call rotation

        Must be willing to work with business end users, IT staff, and vendors both individually and as a EQT Midstream team member

        Occasional travel is required

 

Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states:  Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Louisiana, New Jersey, and New York unless willing to relocate.

Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
