Based in our Hobart office right on Franklin Wharf, you’ll play a critical part in supporting our processing, marine and logistics teams by coordinating reusable equipment (CHEP, bins, IBCs and Tassal owned equipment). About the Role
This is a detail‑focused, hands‑on coordination role where no two days look the same. Your work ensures our business has the right equipment, in the right place, at the right time—and that we’re maintaining strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
You’ll manage equipment movements, support CHEP account health, coordinate stocktakes and reporting, and play a key part in continuous improvement across our supply chain.
A typical day might include:
Liaising with marine and processing sites to coordinate bin, pallet and IBC equipment
Working with CHEP and external suppliers to manage hires, returns and transport
Completing weekly and monthly stocktakes and reconciliation
Monitoring equipment KPIs and preparing reporting with commentary
Troubleshooting issues, investigating variances and supporting process improvements
Ensuring equipment is compliant, sanitised and ready for operational use
What We’re Looking For
Experience in logistics, supply chain or equipment coordination—FMCG experience highly regarded
Strong knowledge of CHEP account environments (daily/weekly/monthly tasks)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Proactive communicator who can build strong cross‑functional relationships
Strong organisational skills and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment
Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to think practically and creatively
Someone who values teamwork and is ready to “own it”
