As our Commercial function continues to grow and evolve, we’re looking for a Category Executive who thrives in a fast‑paced FMCG environment and enjoys being the go‑to person for all things data, reporting and category support. You’ll work closely with our Category Manager to help drive performance across our key seafood categories and support major retailer partners.

About the Role
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll support the smooth day‑to‑day operation of our Category function. You’ll be responsible for analysing retailer and market data, preparing reports, supporting range reviews, and helping tell compelling commercial stories through insights‑driven presentations.
A typical day may include:
Deep‑diving into retailer shopper data (Quantium, Coles Synergy).
Tracking category performance through scan data and panel data (NIQ).
Preparing data and slides for retailer range reviews.
Analysing promotional effectiveness and competitor activity.
Producing weekly and monthly category performance reports.
Responding to ad‑hoc data requests from Sales, Marketing and Leadership.
This role is based at our Sydney Olympic Park office with hybrid flexibility. Some travel may be required.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in FMCG, ideally in Category, NAE, Sales Rep, Marketing or similar roles.
Strong analytical capability and excellent attention to detail.
Experience with retailer or market data systems (IRI, Circana, NIQ) is highly regarded.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; exposure to Power BI/Tableau is a bonus.
Great communication skills and the ability to turn data into a clear story.
Someone proactive, organised and eager to learn in a fast‑paced, perishable food environment.
