What You’ll Do

The Account Representative is an entry-level position that offers the opportunity to begin a career with Metrie. You will have exposure to leadership decisions that impact the business and opportunities to work directly with our sales team to build a foundation and understanding of our products. This person will also be responsible for developing and maintaining positive customer relationships by fielding calls, entering orders, responding to questions, and quickly resolving issues. *No cold calling!*

Promotion opportunities to Outside Sales role within 12-24 months!

Key Relationships: You will report directly to our Inside Sales Manager.

Location: You will be based out of our New Lenox, IL office with a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office once fully trained.

Office Hours: 7am-4pm

Who You Are

  • A bachelor's degree
  • You have an interest in moving into outside sales
  • You are open to relocation within the Central region
  • You have a passion for customer service and enjoy building rapport with prospective and existing customers
  • You love to learn. You are passionate about growing your knowledge and analytical skills
  • Values matter to you. You bring your true self to work and live by our values – passion, respect, integrity, collaboration, and excellence
  • You demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English
  • You have excellent organizational skills and effective time management to succeed in a fast-paced environment

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • Demonstrated experience in sales
  • You are proficient with web-based computer services, specifically Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel)
