What You’ll Do

This role is responsible for the reporting and analytics pertaining to supply chain with a focus on cost, vendor pricing and inventory analysis.  Other areas of responsibility include, but aren’t limited to; demand, supply, trends, predictors and insights across Metrie. This reporting and analysis will make use of our IBP Edge Planning Tool and the core SAP data warehouse.  This role will require the development, and implementation of reporting and data sources that ensure Metrie drives data-based decisions at the enterprise level to help meet growth objectives.  The Supply Chain Analyst will support the Supply Chain Leadership Team with high-level analysis, pointing them to the correct regional insights to drive improvements to the supply chain.   

Location: Remote. Approximately 5-10% travel required in North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and implementation of systems, processes, and guidelines for reporting, and analytics that allows Metrie to achieve growth and improve the supply chain.  Create the reporting and process standardization that will drive excellence and value across the organization.  These initiatives will include, but are not limited to: the development, maintenance and refinement of analysis models for total cost of ownership, make vs. buy decisions, vendor performance metrics, inventory quality and other relevant KPIs. 
  • Provide value-added analysis and insights for current state and future projections to enable enhanced business decisions by stakeholders, including executive team members and business leaders across the organization.  This includes participation in budgets, forecasting, trend analysis, predictors, etc. that encompass various sources of available data and analytics.
  • Develop repeatable and sustainable processes for reporting, maintenance, analysis and communication of information within our business groups.  Automate standard and repeatable reporting allowing time and mindshare for value-added analysis, insights and predictors.
  • Communicate to and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure well rounded and robust analytics, insights and corresponding decisions.  Create value-added methods and processes for communications to internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Lead the extraction and analysis of data for supply chain across the organization, while collaborating with sales and procurement resources.
  • Support each region’s budget attainment, by highlighting areas of opportunity, and identifying best practices.
  • Communicate questions and issues during the data analysis phase, and then deliver high quality work results to the supply chain team for review and approval.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or Supply Chain Management beneficial
  • Experience with: SAP ERP, SAP IBP, SAP Analysis for Office, Tableau, MS Access.
  • Strong technical fluency, with demonstrated experience in Excel - Pivot Tables, Graphs, Analysis for Office usage, Complex formula usage, Macros, Visual Basic for Applications.
  • Microsoft Powerpoint - Be able to present data findings in both detailed and summarized views.
  • SQL - Tableau interfacing and PowerBi Interfacing.
  • Project management tools - IE Gantt charts, etc.
  • Experience with S&OP theory or practice.
  • Ability to work on repetitive type work and remain focused on the importance of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively alone, under pressure and with commitment to timelines.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize requests from multiple team members. 
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a virtual team, strong communicator and collaborator.
  • Ability to travel within the US and Canada 5-10% or as required.
