Golf Guest Services I: (hourly): $15.58/min - $17.14/mid - $18.70/max
Golf Guest Services II (hourly): $17.32/min - $19.06/mid - $20.79/max
Golf Guest Services III (hourly): $19.14/min - $21.11/mid - $23.08/max
Position Summary: This intermittent role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while supporting daily golf operations. Guest Services staff serve as the first and last point of contact for golfers, helping to create a welcoming and positive experience. This position plays a key role in the success of the Golf Department by maintaining the driving range and practice facilities, overseeing golf cart operations, assisting with rental club management, performing custodial duties throughout the clubhouse and property, and supporting tournament and event operations.
Supervision Exercised and Received: This position reports directly to the Golf Managers and the Golf Professional staff. In their absence, direction will be provided by the Golf Pro Shop staff for all Golf Guest Services personnel.

Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent, but not required.
Experience: Golf course experience is preferred but not required. Customer service and teamwork experience in outdoor or community settings is also helpful but not required.
Technical Knowledge: Must be able to use a computer for clocking in/out, replying to emails, and checking schedules. Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (Email), and have a basic understanding of online computer-based technology applications, which includes accessing web-based platforms.
Licenses & Certifications: Must be a minimum of 16 years of age and possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License or be able to obtain one within 30 days of start date
Preferred Candidate:
• Basic golf knowledge and understanding of golf operations.
• Strong communication, enthusiasm, and engagement skills
NOTE: This position requires a Criminal Background Check upon hire. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Criminal Background Check.
NOTE: Any combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required abilities, knowledge, and skills as determined by the City of Aspen may be substituted for the requirements above.
Position Type and Work Hours:
• Intermittent, less than 29 hours, Hours may vary depending on operational needs and golf season
• Hours will vary depending on operational needs and golf season, typically ranging from 8 hours per week up to the intermittent position limit.
• Golf Season: April 1, 2026 – October 31, 2026
• May be opportunity to extend employment beyond the golf season depending on operational needs.
• This position may work as early as 4:30 am and work as late as 11:00 pm
• Standard golf shop hours, during the Peak Season, is 6:00 am to 8:00 pm
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Work Environment:
• Indoors (30%): Office environment at facility
• Outdoors/Off-Site (70%): Outdoor recreational golf facilities. Position will be exposed to outdoor working conditions in all types of weather. Will attend meetings, trainings, and conferences at a variety of city facilities and areas.
