About the Role:

Join our Channel team in Electrona as a Farm Attendant and get out on the water in the beautiful D'Entrecasteaux Channel daily. You’ll play a pivotal role in not just the teams success but also Tassal’s overall success.

Daily Requirements:

  • Fish Husbandry:  Monitoring our salmons health is vital, your dedication to fish husbandry will contribute to the high standards of welfare we uphold at Tassal.
  • Inputting Nets: Your role will involve skilfully inputting nets into designated areas, ensuring optimal conditions for fish growth and harvest.
  • General Labouring Duties: Inspecting Pens, Nets, Feed Equipment and performing maintenance as required.
  • Staying Compliant: Making sure we follow all company rules, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Harvest Help: Assisting with harvest tasks as needed.

Required & Desired Skills:

  • Coxswains NC2 (desirable)
  • Cert III in Aquaculture (or willingness to obtain)
  • Team Player
  • Excellent communication
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly organised
