About the role

As a Program Coordinator at V/Line, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing the Strategic Data Integrity Program (SDIP). This role involves effective cost control, financial reporting, and supporting the Program Manager in monitoring project progress and managing budget variations.

Key accountabilities include:

·        Develop and maintain program schedules, timelines, and deliverables.

·        Coordinate resources and manage program execution.

·        Serve as the main point of contact for program-related queries.

·        Prepare reports, presentations, and program documentation.

·        Provide cost control support, including project forecasting and budget management.

·        Monitor financial performance and ensure healthy cash flow.

·        Maintain accurate program documentation and support team coordination.

 

About you

You are a proactive and organised individual with strong multitasking skills. You have a keen eye for detail and excel in a fast-paced environment. Your excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders make you a valuable team player.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

·        Strong understanding of cost control, planning, and scheduling principles.

·        Experience in budget management and reporting.

·        High levels of computer literacy, including ERP and Microsoft Office.

·        Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

·        Proactive stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

·        Demonstrated expertise in cost control.

·        Proven track record in project/program support roles.

·        Demonstrated alignment with V/Line’s values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership and human rights.

Highly regarded

·        Degree in Business, Commerce, Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience

·        Rail/infrastructure knowledge and experience

·        Experience using JDEdwards

Remuneration for this position will be in line with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2023, starting from Clerk C4 (inclusive of superannuation) and adjusted upwards based on the candidate's skills and experience.
