Due to internal career mobility and promotion, we are now looking for our next Advisor – Safeworking.
Reporting to the Director – Compliance & Safeworking, you’ll support the oversight of safe working practices and rail safety accreditation across V/Line.

About the Role
This role is crucial in ensuring Safeworking protocols are adhered to and that individuals are appropriately qualified.

About You
You have a strong background in rail operating systems and train control, with experience in Safeworking systems used across the V/Line network. You possess a keen interest in building knowledge within the Safeworking environment and can carry out governance activities. You are professional, motivated, and committed to rail safety.

Salary & Benefits
Salary for this permanent, full-time role is in the range Clerk C4 (Base annual salary $98,630) to Clerk C7 (Base $115,831), in accordance with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2023.
Benefits include 4-week’s annual leave, 17.5% leave loading, super, and free myki for metro & regional travel.
