NDIS Participant - 2025 Internship Program (Work Experience)

About the role

As a V/Line Intern, you will participate in a tailored work experience placement across various teams. You will engage in activities designed to align with your career goals while demonstrating a willingness to learn and maintaining a professional attitude.

 

Key accountabilities include:

  • Complete up to 10 days of work experience.
  • Collaborate closely with team members.
  • Uphold V/Line’s core values: respect, leadership, responsiveness, human rights, integrity, and accountability.

 

About you

To be eligible for this unpaid internship, you must meet the following criteria:

 

  • Candidates must pass the adjusted and supported V/Line interview process.
  • Must be registered with a NDIS employment services provider or TAFE for insurance coverage.
  • This program is unpaid; no payments will be exchanged.
  • Opportunities depend on business area availability and the candidate's requested location and dates.
  • Placements are likely to occur between August and September 2025.

 

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

 

  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret organisational documents (support available if needed).
  • Capability to follow operational and safety instructions independently.
  • Previous work experience in customer service or knowledge of the rail industry (desirable)
