About the Role
The Advisor Environment & Heritage (Ecologist) is the custodian of environmental support for rail infrastructure projects. You will manage environmental and heritage risks across all projects and rail construction sites. With a special focus on ecology, you will:

Site Visits & Travel
This role involves traveling to sites across regional Victoria, offering a fantastic opportunity to explore our beautiful State! You’ll spend about half your time at our Flinders Street office and the other half out on site, where you will:
There will be some evenings, weekends, overnight stays, and overtime, with reimbursements for all travel-related meals and accommodation.
A valid Victoria Driver Licence is essential, and a tool of trade vehicle will be provided.
The ability to undertake solo journeys and operate a 4WD vehicle will be an advantage. Accredited 4WD driver training can be provided.

What We Offer
Salary for this permanent, full-time role is in the range Clerk C5 (Base $104,121) to SO 1.3 (Base $127,214), in accordance with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2023.
Benefits include a Tool-of-Trade vehicle for work purposes, 4-weeks annual leave, 17.5% leave loading, 11.5% employer-paid super, and free myki for metro & regional travel.
