We are looking for a Master's student for an internship to support ICANN–UNESCO collaboration on Universal Acceptance (UA) of all domain names and email addresses, including those in local languages, a key to access the multilingual Internet. The work is within UNESCO’s broader work on multilingualism, digital inclusion, and the International Decade of Indigenous Languages 2022–2032. The internship will provide opportunities to contribute to research, drafting, and activities related to strengthening partnerships, supporting policy development, and assisting in capacity-building initiatives.
Based in Brussels, Belgium - at the heart of the European policy landscape - this internship provides a monthly allowance and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to shaping the global Internet and gain experience in working with international and intergovernmental organizations, making contributions to the area of multilingual Internet. The ideal duration of the internship is 6 month.
