Internal Application Eligibility

To submit an application for an internal promotion, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Current job performance meets or exceeds expectations for current role
• Minimum of 18 months in current role
• Openly discuss your interest in applying to the role with your current manager. 

Any exceptions to the above requirements require final approval by Human Resources. We support your professional development from Day 1 so if you are not eligible, there are still other ways you can continue to grow and develop. Metrie U is a great resource at your fingertips to help you prepare for the direction in which you’d like to head, and to set you up for success when the time comes to apply. Or, speak to your manager about other ways you can continue your developmental journey at Metrie.

Creating Your Metrie Careers Profile

Once you’ve found a role that you’re interested in, click the “Apply for this Position” button. You will be directed to the application page whereby you’ll enter in an email address and password before completing the application form for that specific role. Be sure to remember the email and password you’ve used, as this will allow you to log back into your profile to view your application history, edit your profile and apply for other internal roles.

To start, click the "Search" button to see all our current available internal career opportunities at Metrie. You can also choose to search by Location, Job Category, Employment Status, or Description Keywords. If you are interested in any of our open roles, please submit your resume directly to us online. This is the fastest and most reliable way to be considered for any of our available positions.

What You Can Expect During the Application Process

So you've applied for your potential next role at Metrie - what comes next? 

1. Your application has automatically been routed to the Talent Pool for this role, where it will be available for review by our Human Resources Team as well as the current Hiring Manager. You will receive an email confirming that your application was received in the system.
2. Remember to have an open conversation with your manager regarding your interest in the role, if you have not yet already done so.
3. If you are considered as a shortlisted candidate, you will have the opportunity to participate in conversations with the Hiring Manager, Senior Leaders (if applicable) and Human Resources.
4. If you are not considered as a shortlisted candidate, you will receive a follow-up conversation with the Hiring Manager and Human Resources, which will be designed to help you set up a learning and development plan to help you reach the requirements necessary for your chosen career destination.
