Reporting to the Vice-President and Head of Global Procurement, the Commodity and Vendor Manager, Global Procurement, IT, will have the following responsibilities:


  • Manage relationships with IT vendors: supply contracts and terms and conditions of sale, negotiation of agreements, purchasing commitments, value-added services and performance;
  • Support IT departments by setting international and local IT strategies and achieving set objectives as well as performance indicators.
  • Assist business units to ensure required IT services are provided and that budget deadlines, quality, and costs are respected; regularly send reports to management;
  • Maintain good business relationships with the main international and local IT stakeholders;
  • Participate in the strategic management of IT spending while directly supporting business units.
  • Develop and prepare calls for tender; analyze bids and put together recommendations; negotiate agreements and prepare operational summaries for members of the management team;
  • Put strategies in place to enable service quality improvement and cost reductions;
  • Be the point of reference in the field of IT procurement commodities for all regions;


  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, business administration and/or finance or have equivalent work experience;
  • Experience in global IT procurement;
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a position related to IT procurement;
  • Extensive knowledge of the global IT products and services market along with its trends;
  • Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and communicate in French and English, both written and spoken;
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to set priorities and manage several tasks at once;
  • Excellent knowledge of computer tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Be available for occasional travel.
