WSP is currently seeking an Intermediate Process Engineer to join our Thornhill office Infrastructure group


  • Wastewater treatment process analysis (biological, mechanical and chemical);
  • Water treatment process analysis (biological, mechanical and chemical);
  • Hydraulic and process calculations (desktop and software based);
  • Process mechanical equipment review and selection;
  • Prepare; Process and Process Mechanical Specifications, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs);
  • Coordination with other engineering disciplines;
  • Coordination with Clients;
  • Technical Report writing;
  • Technical Proposal writing; and
  • Other duties as assigned/required


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s or Ph.D. will be considered an asset.);
  • Registered Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario;
  • A minimum of 6 years experience in water and wastewater treatment and pumping;
  • Strong verbal and technical writing skills; and
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and teamwork skills.
