You’ll explore new and inspiring opportunities to make the most of your expertise, broaden your professional horizons and create exciting new possibilities for people, organisations and society in general.  As part of the Global Enterprise Cloud and Compute Services Team, the Global Unified Communication Architect is accountable for the proper integration of the global enterprise communication services such as such as voice, instant messaging, video conferencing, messaging, identity management, etc.

A typical week would include: 
  • Providing designs and overseeing the implementation of critical business systems aligned with Global Enterprise Cloud and Compute Services strategic direction.
  • Responsible for governing the diagnosis and troubleshooting of complex enterprise voice and unified communication issues by a third-party provider
  • Overseeing root cause analysis, incident management, communication with internal clients/ business partners/ service team members
  • Ensuring all production changes are made in accordance with production lifecycle methodology and risk/change management guidelines
  • Providing technical mentoring to other team members and 3rd party providers teams and actively participate in architecture reviews/strategic development activities
  • Participating in the global infrastructure and operations technical governance process
  • Ensuring 3rd party suppliers adherence to WSP processes, procedures and standards
  • Interface and work on some initiatives with IT service delivery and application team members, project teams and other Global IT Teams across the world
  • On request, participating with the Global Mergers and Acquisition team for the integration of all communication systems resulting from acquisitions or internal projects requiring amendments to the outsource service contract
  • Proposing standards for business requirements, security certification and industry best practices to bring plus value

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • Relevant and practical experience
  • Experience working with and managing multiple providers in an international multi-carrier environment
  • Knowledge of different applications, systems, technologies such as:
    • Skype / Teams
    • Active Directory
    • Exchange
    • Identity Management Tools
  • Excellent written and spoken French and English
  • Ability to work independently with low-level supervision and in a global team distributed geographically
  • Strong organization skills (set priorities, meets deadlines, multiple simultaneous projects) and excellent documentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and diagnostic problem-solving skills with the ability of providing solutions to identified problems
  • Ability to communicate problems in terms that are understandable to end users at all levels
    • Demonstrated experience in understanding, designing, delivering and demonstrating compliance with information security requirements
    • Knowledge and experience in performing information security practices in the management and delivery of infrastructure and operations
