WSP is looking for an ERP Analyst. The ERP Analyst is responsible for design and delivery of innovative solutions whilst ensuring best practice for business processes and optimising the usage of the ERP platform and related enterprise systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong communicator who can work well with stakeholders at all levels to advance key ERP initiatives.  As a problem solver, the analyst is thorough in investigating and interpreting data. The analyst understands solution design and ensures customization and configuration of workflows that integrate applications and meet business functional and data needs. Working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and vendors, the analyst uses knowledge of ERP and BI applications to recommend and develop appropriate solutions based on business priorities and information needs.   

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • As a dedicated team player, demonstrate accountability with business stakeholders as a key liaison and ERP expert on projects such as a major ERP transformation covering all core business functional areas
  • Gather requirements, analyse system and data to propose most appropriate solutions. Document request details, business rules, functionality and help translate into system specifications.
  • Identify and assess business information requirements, to facilitate robust business reporting and decision support.
  • Analyze and document change impact and risks.
  • Investigate solutions that will improve system performance and stability.
  • Plan, coordinate, and document user and business acceptance testing, perform functional tests, and help to resolve issues.
  • Provide training and support related to processes, procedures, application functionality, upgrades and other improvements, as required.
  • Forge strong working relationships between the operations and project team to facilitate implementation of business solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Information science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years experience as a Systems Analyst
  • 5+ years experience in ERP applications with Deltek Vision or Oracle financial, with good understanding of financial modules will be a significant asset  
  • Strong understanding of standard corporate business processes e.g. Finance and HR and enterprise application ecosystem
  • Excellent ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all parties
  • Good SQL knowledge
  • Excellent analytical, synthesis and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Familiarity with Agile solution delivery methodology
  • Bilingual (English and French) both written and oral is preferred
