Position Profile

Weaver’s Business Tax Services (BTS) team is looking for a Tax Associate II or Senior Associate I to join their growing team.  The Business Tax Services team at Weaver helps private equity backed clients and large businesses understand all of their tax savings opportunities and manage their financial goals. 


A BTS Associate II or Senior Associate I prepares various types of federal tax returns for clients in a variety of industries and researches related key issues as needed.  This person will also assist with other tax planning and consulting projects.  The ideal candidate is a team player who exhibits initiative, accepts responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity.  A BTS Associate II or Senior Associate I has the opportunity to assist and mentor less experienced staff and interns, and enjoys flexibility, meaningful and diverse client work, a supportive and innovative work environment, four (4) weeks of paid time off per year, and many more benefits.


Education and Skills


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • CPA candidate required, CPA preferred
  • 1-3+ years of public accounting or industry experience, or a combination of both
  • Experience preparing and/or reviewing federal tax returns with a focus on private equity backed clients, large businesses, partnerships and provisions
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, CCH Axcess, CCH Engagement, or similar software
