Summary: To ensure an exceptionally high level of service to guests of CS Venue’s Restaurant.  To interact with the guests in a positive, professional manner with enthusiasm and sincerity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following and other duties as assigned.

  • Sets up and breaks down of bar, stock wine, beer and liquor.
  • Maintains liquor cost controls.
  • Greets bar guests and interacts with friendly and professional service.
  • Fills espresso orders and maintains the machine.
  • Maintains a neat, organized bar during service and after service.
  • Counts cash drawer and assists the Manager with tip outs, reports etc.
  • Takes orders from customers or wait staff.
  • Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
  • Serves wine and draught or bottled beer.
  • Collects payment for drinks served.
  • Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive display.
  • Prepares garnishes for cocktails and other beverages.
  • Inventory control work as assigned.
  • Maintains all health codes and sanitation requirements.
  • Must abide by CS Venue’s grooming and hygiene policy.
  • Provide a guest experience that exceeds the guest’s expectations.
  • Supports TSG Ski & Golf sustainability initiatives.
  • Adheres to TSG Ski & Golf policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of and adheres to Skier Responsibility Code and Colorado Skier Safety Act.

Supervisory Responsibilities:        

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:          

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

       Must have at least 1-3 years fine dining bartending experience.

       Must have basic wine knowledge and knowledge of CS Venue’s full wine and bar list.

       Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

       Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

       Ability to follow instruction and fill drink orders in a timely and neat fashion.

       Complete understanding of all front of the house equipment.

       Understanding of Restaurant point-of-sale system.

 

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). At least 1-3 years bartending in fining dining establishment

Language Skills:    

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

  Mathematical Skills:      

  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

  Reasoning Ability:           

  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Must be an intermediate skier and function effectively at 10,000 feet above sea level.

The pay rate for this position is $20.00/hr + tips
