Summary: To ensure an exceptionally high level of service to guests of CS Venue and interact with the guests in a positive, professional manner with enthusiasm and sincerity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following and other duties as assigned.

  • Coordinates dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners.
  • Needs to be knowledgeable of Club member’s names and preferences.
  • Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus and takes drink orders when needed.
  • Assists guests with coats, hats, bags, etc.
  • Maintains an organized coatroom.
  • Inquire if everything was satisfactory with each guest.
  • Assists Manager in managing the foyer area and ensures that all guests have been acknowledged and assisted.
  • Inspects dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness, and requisitions table linen and other dining room supplies for tables and serving stations.
  • Completes “nightly alert” sheet.
  • Arrange and designate seating chart.
  • Must abide by CS Venue grooming and hygiene policy.
  • Maintains all health codes and sanitation requirements.
  • Provide a guest experience that exceeds the guest’s expectations.
  • Supports TSG Ski & Golf sustainability initiatives.
  • Adheres to TSG Ski & Golf policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of and adheres to Skier Responsibility Code and Colorado Skier Safety Act.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:        

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Qualifications:          

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:     

  • Must be outgoing and personable.
  • Must work at least 2 consecutive seasons and/or have at least 1 year fine dining experience.
  • Must meet dress code requirements.
  • Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

 

                       

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), must have 1-2 seasons experience with the company.

 

                 

Language Skills:    

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

              

Mathematical Skills:      

  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

           

Reasoning Ability:           

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

       

Computer Skills:          

  Basic understanding of Restaurant point-of-sale system and Open Table

       

Other Qualifications:

Must be able to function effectively at 10,000 feet above sea level.

The pay rate for this position is $25.00/hr + tips.
