Summary: Assists Front Server t o ensure an exceptionally high level of service to guest and to interact with guests in a positive, professional manner with enthusiasm and sincerity.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following and other duties as assigned.

  • Coordinates with the kitchen expediter as to what courses are being plated.
  • Communicates with the front waiter to ensure courses are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Busses tables, changes linens, does bread service and replenishes water.
  • Participates in dining room set up and breakdown and daily side work.
  • Assists with coffee and tea service.
  • Maintains all health codes and sanitation requirements.
  • Must abide by Culinary Services grooming and hygiene policy.
  • Provide a guest experience that exceeds the guest’s expectations.
  • Supports TSG Ski & Golf sustainability initiatives.
  • Adheres to TSG Ski & Golf policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of and adheres to Skier Responsibility Code and Colorado Skier Safety Act.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:        

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Qualifications:          

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

  • Must have 1-3 years culinary.
  • Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work at elevations of 10,000 feet or higher.

 

                       

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).  1-3 years experience in a food service establishment.

 

                 

Language Skills:    

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

              

Mathematical Skills:      

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

            

Reasoning Ability:           

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

       

Computer Skills:          

Basic understanding of POS system.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

 

The wage range for this position is $11.40-14/hr. This position does have the ability to earn tips.
