The FF&E Specialist will need a strong background in custom furniture and finishes to contribute from concept to execution. The ideal candidate is passionate about their craft, entrepreneurial in spirit, collaborative and driven by curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize compelling and unique designs and articulate ideas visually and verbally
• Provide custom furniture drawings and work closely with vendors on customization

• Mentor junior designers and collaborate with senior designers
• Refine and help develop ideas of others
• Source furnishings, art, and accessories
• Research, select and document design presentations, image boards, 3D models & views, specifications and drawings

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience with furnishings, finishes, art and accessories design, and procurement in a hospitality design firm
• Demonstrates a strong balance of technical expertise and conceptual design skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to accept creative direction and revisions collaboratively and graciously
• Skilled with Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD and 3d computer or hand representation
• Ability to work as a team and independently

A 4-year degree in Interior, Furniture, or Industrial Design.

Salary Range 80,000 to 105,000 

Salaries vary in response to an individual's experience and proven track record based on total value of projects designed or managed, number of staff managed, complexity of  projects completed, presentation experience, expertise and seniority.
