The LAB at Rockwell Group is a design innovation studio that merges interactive technology and strategic insights into architectural experiences. Our work explores the integration of technology
and media into architectural spaces in order to create immersive social experiences. We are a diverse group of designers, strategists, writers, architects, creative coders, hardware and
software engineers who function as a team, each bringing her/his/their specific expertise to our projects.

Role

The LAB is seeking a versatile Design Strategist experienced in defining the goals and content approaches for multimedia installations: building new worlds for clients and shaping the best way
to represent intent through presentations and reports.

The Design Strategist will collaborate closely with architectural designers, technologists, and UX designers to define the right experience approach, based on our clients’ and their guests’ needs.
Across projects they will assess each client’s aspirations and missions to identify new opportunities within the context of brand, market, user, financial, and technology constraints.

They will also work closely with story and strategy leadership in a team-oriented environment, defining how the Lab can continue to innovate as spatial storytellers while also deepening client
relationships and securing new business. The ideal candidate is a great contributor who can communicate visually and through writing.

Qualities we are looking for:

•     A minimum of 5 years of experience developing design direction, or writing for, the corporate and cultural sectors
•     Understanding of experience design industry and world building
•     Ability to work independently, and as part of a multidisciplinary team
•     Strong research skills, both in defining concept/strategy and visual assets
•     Concise writing style
•     Excellent concept, communication and presentation skills
•     Feels comfortable with fast timelines, and is self-sufficient creating design schedules as well as managing deadlines and tasks.
•     A proactive and positive attitude, about the work and our industry
•     Experience with agile workflows and tools like Monday.com, Notion, Trello.
•     Your work is strategic, heartfelt, and above all inspiring

On-site only.

Salary range:86,000 to 110,000.

Salaries vary in response to an individual's experience and proven track record based on  number of staff managed, complexity of  projects completed, presentation experience, and seniority.
