Melbourne Grammar School is seeking highly skilled and dedicated Outdoor Education staff to work with students from Prep to Year 12 on an ongoing casual basis.
Through our Outdoor Education programme, we value educational experiences that take place in nature. Our natural environs provide a unique, dynamic and inspiring learning environment where our students can play, explore, discover and learn. The programme focuses on a holistic and experiential educational approach endeavouring to create deep learning experiences that educate the 'whole person’. The sequential and progressive program starts with our Prep students and culminates in a 20 day Year 10 program from Mt Hotham to Mt Kosciuszko. There is also a voluntary bushwalking program open to Year 9-12 students which runs during school holiday periods.
The successful applicants will be experienced in working with a variety of year levels in a school setting, possess suitable qualifications and experience and a passion for teaching students in the outdoors.
