Meruelo Media is looking for an experienced self-starter TV Programming Assistant with a passion for Spanish language general entertainment content.  The ideal candidate will be able to participate and collaborate with a very devoted team of media professionals in order to increase viewership of a Spanish language TV channel in the greater Los Angeles, California area.

This role also includes the following duties and responsibilities:

• Prepare programming schedules and updates
• Distributes programming information to staff and TV guides
• Tracks program runs/airings in accordance to contractual terms
• Enters data, updates and generates reports using the SIMS app
• Create movie finance amortization reports using the SIMS app
• Manage program information on Nielsen e-names app
• Quarterly preparation of the FCC Issues and Programs Reports
• Social Media and Digital Channel basic responsibilities

Education Requirements:

• A degree in mass communication or related field

Experience:

• 1+ years TV programming experience
• Spanish Language content knowledge helpful
