About the Team:

The IT Research team sits at the center of Cambridge Associates’ business, building the systems that drive our investment research process. We are a small closely-knit team, but we have a big and far-reaching impact. The decisions we make, the technologies we use, and the things we build are shaping the future of our firm. We’re building a set of applications and a research platform from scratch that will expedite content creation and optimize collaboration between our research and investment teams. We have the opportunity to try new things that have never been attempted before. We release frequently and have the flexibility to act upon changing business conditions. Our platform is set to transform how our firm does business.

About You:

You’re an experienced product manager with the financial acumen necessary to manage a transformational research platform. You can speak frankly with stakeholders to discuss tradeoffs, challenges, and opportunities. You are constantly on the lookout for ways to improve outcomes, whether it be in analytics, decision support, or operational efficiencies. You have the technical skills necessary to understand system and application designs and to ensure quality of delivery. You’re not afraid to challenge long-held assumptions. You clearly articulate your ideas to developers, analysts, and other team members. You can find the data you need by querying across databases and other data sources to form fact-driven analysis and arguments. When data is not available, you find other ways to objectively evaluate options.
