Position Summary:

The Student Accounts Analyst/Cashier is primarily responsible for managing the cashier window at the Caddo Center, providing front-line support for students related to payments and account inquiries. This role also serves as a student account advisor and is responsible for managing communications regarding tuition payments, balances, and account holds. The position ensures a high level of customer service while maintaining compliance with institutional policies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the cashier window at the Caddo Center, receiving and processing student payments, including tuition, fees, and other account-related transactions.
  • Serve as a student account advisor, assisting students in understanding account charges, payment options, and financial obligations.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to students regarding account balances, holds, and due dates.
  • Handle incoming inquiries via phone, email, and in person, ensuring all student communication is professional, accurate, and helpful.
  • Coordinate with the Business Office and Financial Aid to resolve student account discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and daily reconciliation of cashier activity.
  • Support communication efforts by preparing and distributing payment reminders and account notices.
  • Assist with semester billing processes and past-due account outreach as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of cashiering operations and financial software.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to explain billing and payment processes clearly to students and families.

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications:

An earned high school diploma or equivalent.

At least two years of experience in cashiering, student accounts, or a related area preferred.
