Position Summary:
The Stewardship Coordinator supports the Henderson State University Foundation’s efforts to provide exceptional stewardship, financial management, and donor services. This position is responsible for the accurate processing of contributions, financial transactions, and donor communications while ensuring compliance, accountability, and a high standard of customer service.
This role plays a critical part in strengthening donor relationships by ensuring timely acknowledgments, accurate reporting, and thoughtful stewardship touches that reflect the impact of giving and support the university’s mission and philanthropic priorities.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in a nonprofit, higher education, or advancement environment.
• Familiarity with donor databases such as Raiser’s Edge and financial systems such as Financial Edge.
• Experience with gift processing, donor stewardship, or financial reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and work both independently and collaboratively.

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
