Title: Production Lead
Location: Knox, IN

Salary: $23.00+/hour (depending on current production operator level)
Schedule: Straight Afternoons (S/2) 
Shift Differential:  $1.25/hour for afternoon or midnight shifts

Focus:  The Production Lead ensures safety/quality standards, proper manufacture, painting, stacking, boxing, and palletizing of finished products.  

Production Lead Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead the production team and assist as needed.
  • Adjust production equipment.
  • Place cardboard boxes into the production equipment.
  • Transport palletized materials using a fork truck.
  • Perform and verify all quality inspections.  
  • Adheres to and verifies that all team members follow all safety requirements, including lockout/tagout and wearing required PPE.

Production Lead Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of recent related production line experience.  Production experience within all areas is preferred.  
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred.  
  • Must have strong communication skills, be multi-tasking, detail-oriented, and be able to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods, climb ladders, work at heights, in weather elements and extreme temperatures, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility to be on call, work other shifts, and weekends as needed.
