Focus: Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management processes and procedures and ensure all configuration data is accurate, up to date, and compliant with organizational standards.

Configuration Control Specialist Essential Job Functions:

·           Develop and maintain configuration management plans and procedures, ensuring all configuration data is accurate and up to date.

·           Establish and maintain configuration baselines for construction and design documents, and review and approve proposed changes to configuration items.

·           Coordinate and track the implementation of approved changes, construction submittals, and construction contract document deliverables (CDRLs).

·           Coordinate and track requests for information between stakeholders and conduct audits to verify compliance with configuration management processes.

·           Provide training and support to team members on configuration management processes.

Configuration Control Specialist Minimum Requirements:

·           Bachelor's degree* 

·           5 years of related and recent configuration management or project controls experience 

·           Strong knowledge of configuration management principles and best practices.

·           Experience with configuration management tools and software.

·           Analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.

Location-Specific Requirements: 

  • Must have a valid US Driver’s License.
  • This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls if required.
  • This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
  • This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies.
