Title: Tax Senior
Location: Clayton, MO

Salary: $74,000 - $92,000
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week.

Focus: The Tax Senior will work in a wide variety of tax areas to develop strategic tax opportunities and address complex tax issues


Tax Senior Essential Job Functions:

  • Work closely with accounting and business departments to gather tax information from divisions to be used to produce the federal and state income tax returns, including verification of completeness and accuracy of data
  • Prepare and assist with the review of estimated/extension tax calculations and vouchers and coordinate payment
  • Maintain the tax fixed asset ledger including, reporting from SAP, evaluating system calculations of fixed assets and monitoring law changes impacting depreciation. Perform quarterly tax depreciation forecast and roll forward of tax fixed assets and reconcile information to book fixed assets. Inquire and document variances
  • Assist with the quarterly and annual tax provision process
  • Perform technical tax research to support the Company’s positions within federal tax filings
  • Assist in gathering and reviewing of information associated with tax audits conducted by various governmental agencies
  • Assist with global transfer pricing documentation
  • Work with external advisors on the preparation of foreign earnings & profits adjustments, GILTI inclusions, FDII exclusions, and foreign tax credit calculations

Tax Senior Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree* in Accounting or related field required; Advanced Degree* preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of tax experience
  • Prior experience working in public accounting and/or with large, multi-state organization
  • CPA, JD and/or CMI certifications preferred
  • SAP, Onesource Indirect Tax (Sabrix), Taxware, or Vertex systems experience preferred
  • Strong communication, technical, and leadership skills
  • Excellent time management and strong attention to detail
  • Must be self-motivated and able to simultaneously manage multiple time-sensitive tasks
