Position Summary:
We are looking to add some members to our ESPN broadcast crew. In this position, students will be setting up and tearing down equipment, operating cameras for ESPN3/+ events, and will eventually move in to training on other control room positions such as Replay, Graphics, Audio, etc. Students will gain valuable experience in a professional sports broadcast setting, and will learn about the broadcast process from beginning to end.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Setup and teardown of camera equipment, running and wrapping cable, operating a camera during a game, other broadcast-related duties as assigned.
- Moving equipment to and from the stadium/arena from the broadcast control room.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Broadcast knowledge is preferred, but not necessary. Must be able to carry equipment up to 50lbs. Students must be able to show up on-time and to every event they are scheduled. Must be a team player with good communication skills and the willingness to learn and grow in their video/broadcast skills.
General Days/Hours:
- Work day varies depending on the event - Min 5 hours/day - Max 8 hrs/day (mostly afternoon/evenings)
- Regular and reliable attendance required

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be enrolled as a student at A-State.
