Summary of responsibilities:

The Advisor, Service Delivery is responsible for coordinating priorities, issues, action plans, activities and other projects as they relate to CATSA’s mandate, and contributing to decision making and implementation of programs. The incumbent is also responsible for establishing, tracking and overseeing the service delivery budget. The Advisor, Service Delivery performs all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.

What you need to succeed

To qualify for the position, you must have:

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a specialization in public administration, economics, business administration, business or in another specialty related to the duties of the position;
  • A minimum of three years of experience planning, organizing and coordinating program implementation, application and effectiveness;
  • A minimum of three years of experience writing letters, reports and news releases as part of internal and external communications;
  • A minimum of three years of experience in budget development, tracking and reporting;
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced software, such as Excel, Visio and Word.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in stressful situations and to adapt to changing priorities;

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Valuable skills include:

  • Knowledge of CATSA’s mandate and priorities, as well as an awareness of relevant legislation impacting CATSA.
  • Knowledge of the aviation industry and the related regulatory and security issues.

Specific work requirements:

  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
