We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) HR Coordinator to support our human resources department at our Hodgkins, IL facility.   This is a professional growth opportunity to work in a best-in-class chilled food processor known for the quality of its products.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Selection

  • Assist in posting job openings on various platforms and managing the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Conduct background checks and reference checks
  • Manage E-Verify process for new hires

Onboarding

  • Prepare new hire paperwork and coordinate orientation sessions
  • Assist in creating and updating employee handbooks and onboarding materials
  • Conduct new employee orientations in both English and Spanish

Offboarding

  • Process terminations and resignations
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management
  • Ensure all offboarding procedures are followed consistently

General HR Support

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries
  • Support HR initiatives and special projects as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field highly desired.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and E-Verify
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of confidentiality and attention to detail

Preferred

  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing/production environment

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required
  • May require occasional travel between company locations
