Position Summary:
The Department of Accounting in the Neil Griffin College of Business at Arkansas State University (A-State) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning Fall 2025. Teaching and research interests in all areas of accounting will be considered. However, our primary teaching need is in managerial accounting. Interest in and knowledge of data analytics is highly valued. Primary responsibilities include teaching accounting courses at the undergraduate and graduate (MAcc/MBA) levels, conducting scholarly research that results in quality peer reviewed publications, and service to the department, college, and university.
The AACSB-accredited Neil Griffin College of Business is one of the up-and-coming business colleges in the region. The Department of Accounting has a strong reputation regionally for the quality of its accounting program, as demonstrated by the high percentage of MAcc students that pass sections of the CPA exam on their first attempt.

Preferred Qualifications
An active CPA license
Work experience in accounting

Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. or DBA with a concentration in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution.
ABD’s will be considered.
