Middle East Broadcasting Networks (MBN) is seeking a Front-End Designer & Developer to design and build engaging, user-focused web experiences across our digital platforms. This role combines visual design and front-end engineering to deliver responsive, accessible, and high-performing interfaces that support MBN’s digital-first strategy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) into clean, maintainable code
Develop layouts and interactive components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript
Build responsive interfaces optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and user-facing features
Test, debug, and ensure cross-browser compatibility
Monitor and improve performance, load times, and Core Web Vitals
Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.1+) and SEO best practices
Maintain reusable components, standards, and documentation
Other Duties:
Perform additional responsibilities as required based on organizational needs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5+ years of professional front-end or web development experience
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS (Flexbox/Grid), and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience with React, Angular, or Vue
Proficiency with Git/GitHub or GitLab
Familiarity with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack, npm)
Experience with SASS or scalable CSS methodologies
Understanding of accessibility, performance optimization, and responsive design
