Job Overview

This position at the Telluride Ski and Golf Club is a hospitality-focused, member-facing role centered on delivering high-end, personalized service. The club is seeking someone outgoing, detail-oriented, and service-driven who can create a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests while providing them with an exceptional experience at the club.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily club operations, including:
  • Continental breakfast, lunch, and beverage service
  • Locker room and concierge-style services
• Provide prompt, attentive service and respond to member requests
• Help plan and execute club events
• Share knowledge about:
  • Club events and tee times
  • Local activities and resort services
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall club standards
• Build relationships with members, ideally greeting them by name

Work Expectations

• Be punctual, flexible, and available for weekends/holidays
• Seasonal commitment required (vacation time limited)
• Work in a fast-paced, high-service environment
• Follow strict appearance and uniform standards
• Focus on guest service and not on personal needs or devices

Qualifications

• ~4+ years working with high-end clientele preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Hospitality or food & beverage experience is a plus
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge
• Interest in golf and local community knowledge helpful

Education

• High school diploma required
• Some college preferred

Physical & Work Environment

• Active role (standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs)
• Mix of indoor/outdoor work in a busy setting

Overall

This is a luxury hospitality, bartender/server + concierge-style role where success depends on professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate and exceed member expectations.

 The wage for this position is $20/hr. This position does have the ability to earn tips.
