 Job Description:

• • • • In coordination with the AOC Training Manager (TM), provide AFFOR management support in the overall development, planning, establishment, and implementation of CAF/Mobility Air Forces AFFOR training program.
      •  Review, develop and prepare inputs for CAF/MAF AFFOR training program guidance.
      • Provide technical support and guidance to the Combat Air Force (CAF) Component-Numbered Air Forces (C-NAFs) for effective employment of assets.
      • Review, develop and prepare the AFFOR readiness programs.
      • Perform deliberate planning and crisis action planning utilizing Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) and the Deliberate Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES).

 Experience and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university OR Comparable Headquarters Functional Area Manager experience. Preferably in AOC and/or AFFOR

• Functional Area Manager (FAM) experience to include working with DCAPES, JOPES and updating Joint Capability Requirement Management (JCRM) with sourcing nominations.
• Experience in AFFOR and/or AOC program and funding actions, weapons system capabilities, developments and initiatives
• AFFOR and/or AOC operational experience with AOC weapons system
