Demonstrate potential for broad-based teaching at undergraduate and graduate level in the areas of Information Systems and Technology, Applied Artificial Intelligence and Applied Cybersecurity. The candidate will be expected to engage with the Center for Teaching and Learning for continuous improvement of teaching skills.
Develop a new 4-yr BS program in Information Systems and Technology that will be offered face-to-face as well as fully online, with an embedded 2-yr AS program. Future expansion into the graduate domain by leveraging partnerships with existing graduate programs in the college will need to be part of the strategic approach to develop a BS program.
Implement inclusive and evidence-based teaching and learning approaches to ensure the academic success of a diverse population of students.
As part of the obligations, the hired candidate is also expected to mentor students, serve on various committees, and participate in recruiting and outreach activities.
Demonstrate willingness to collaborate with diverse groups of faculties.
Be involved in service at the departmental, college and university levels.
Be involved in student outreach and recruitment

About the College of Engineering and Computer Science:
The College of Engineering and Computer Science has two departments: Computer Science and Engineering, The Department of Computer Science offers a BA and a BS in Computer Science as well as a MS in Computer Science. The Department of Engineering also offers ABET-accredited BS degrees in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering as well as ATMAE-accredited degrees in Engineering Technology, BS degrees in Land Surveying and Geomatics, Construction Management, Engineering Management Systems. The college also offers MS degrees in all three engineering disciplines and Engineering Management.
