We are currently seeking Mid-Level Counterintelligence (CI) Analysts for OCONUS deployment.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain knowledge of host nation intelligence and security organizations.
  • Maintain knowledge of third country intelligence services that pose a threat to DAF resources and the organization’s personnel, and maintain knowledge of the capabilities of state sponsored, transnational, international or regional terrorist groups and their surrogates that threaten DAF security.
  • Fuse intelligence and raw data from multiple sources in varying classifications to identify threats, trends, structures of terrorist cells, their location, plotting attack information on a daily to weekly basis.
  • Perform collection management duties by evaluating field reports involving terrorist group organizational structures and their involved interrelationships among other organizations and state-sponsored groups targeting the DAF/DoD.
  • Assist in the development of target packages to mitigate threats to 24 EFIS, subordinate units, and DAF/DoD personnel and resources in the USCENTCOM/AFCENT AOR.
  • Prepare briefings that describe the nature, scope, specific identification, and possible impact of coordination and cooperation prevalent among hostile groups. Briefings are prepared upon request by AFOSI leadership, base commanders, operating environment owners, and other intelligence/counterintelligence customers (both CONUS and OCONUS) who value the direct information and intelligence products.
  • Coordinate and maintain liaison relationships with military and national level agencies.
  • Ensure all products and briefings produced in support of this contract are in strict compliance with security classification, restrictive caveats, and dissemination directives.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of CRs from subordinate units within 72 hours. Reviews will include but are not limited to utilizing 24 EFIS SOP and CCR 381-16 to identify discrepancies, threats to physical safety of AFOSI personnel, and identify indicators of foreign intelligence collection. Reviews will be uploaded into appropriate databases and feedback will be provided to field units, AFCENT, AFOSI Leadership, and COR as required.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of all intelligence information reports within 72 hours. Reviews will include but are not limited to utilizing the DCHE-M to identify discrepancies, provide analyst comments, and verify collection requirements. Reports will be returned to subordinate field units for publishing in CHROME database or elsewhere as directed. Feedback will be provided to field units, AFCENT, AFOSI Leadership, and COR as required.
  • Conduct bi-monthly reviews of SOMM database profiles. Reviews will include but are not limited to utilizing the 24 EFIS SOP and CCR 381-16 to document itemized discrepancies, aid in updating profiles, and aid in profile deconfliction. Feedback will be provided to field units and 24 EFIS staff.
  • Ensure products are compliant with ICD and AFOSI standards and uploaded to appropriate databases.
  • Review CI2MS activities for unit COINEs, other investigations and source documentation.
  • Deliver products that are free from grammatical, spelling, and formatting errors.
  • Provide Source citations to all products per ICON guidance.

 

Qualifications:

  • Meet all qualifications AND willing to deploy OCONUS
  • Three (3) years of field experience conducting HUMINT or counterintelligence operations, experience with human-derived, counterintelligence, and counterterrorism operations, ending within the last three (3) years.
  • One (1) year comprehensive analytical support to counterintelligence, counterterrorism, and/or HUMINT operations, ending within the last three (3) years.
  • Graduate of in-residence post-initial training for counterintelligence, HUMINT, and/or source handling operations (e.g., Fundamentals of Intelligence Analysis course or JCITA courses).
  • Proficient in utilizing standard computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development
  • Briefing skills
  • Deployment experience supporting Counterintelligence, HUMINT, and CT military analysis
  • Be capable of effectively operating as a member of an analytical team from a remote location
  • Strong writing skills and being capable of effectively operating as a member of a combined/joint intelligence team required. Strong briefing skills and being capable of effective communication in the accomplishment of collection management reporting and requirements required. Must have knowledge of guiding regulations including but not limited to the Defense Counterintelligence and Human Intelligence Enterprise Manual (DCHE-M) and Central Command Regulation 381-16.
  • Must have experience and working knowledge of the following programs and systems within the last three (3) years: Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); Analyst Notebook; SIPR/JWICS Access; M3 - Multi Media Messenger (Or other message handling systems such as AMHS, TAC/Tripwire, Palantir, etc.) ; Source Operations Management Module (SOMM); Proton, ROCKSTAR, and or Voltron); Intelink; Combined Information Data Network Exchange (CIDNE); CIA WIRE; HOT-R and or the Counterintelligence and Human Intelligence Requirements, Reporting, and Operations Management Environment (CHROME); NCTC Online; J2 DCP Portal (CJCS Portal).
  • Knowledge of AFOSII2MS and or CI2MS is desirable.

 

Required Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs, National Security Studies, Arabic Studies, International Business, International Terrorism, Intelligence, Counterintelligence, or other related fields;
  • Southwest Asian regional expertise a plus.

 

Required Clearance:

 

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Access
  • CI or FS scope polygraph a plus
