ASOT CAT III Role Player

At Valorous we are seeking qualified ASOT CAT III Role Player’s capable of working as 1099 Role Players.  This position is part time as needed throughout the year. Job locations in support of this effort range from East to West Coast.

PURPOSE:  The CAT III Role Player will serve as a role player in a training scenario to senior Special Forces NCOs, warrant officers, and officers in both urban and rural environments.

 

DUTIES:  The successful candidate's job tasks include but are not limited to:

 Responsible for safeguarding all Government property and classified documents provided for use

·       Provide role player support in all aspects of the Customer's POI in scenarios with senior Special Forces NCOs and officers attending the Customer's course

·       Participate in practical exercises and Field Training Exercises in rural and urban CONUS environments to reinforce and develop student knowledge, skill, and operational judgment

·         Travel to all requested CONUS locations

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 Role Player qualifications will include one or a combination of the following qualifications:

·         Achilles Dagger Level 2

·         CMF-18 series Military Occupational Specialty

·         Advanced Source Operations Course Qualified

·         Source Operations Course Qualified

·         Must hold and maintain a current SECRET clearance

·         Four years of Special Operations Forces experience required

·         Must be a graduate of SEAL Qualifications Course or Special Forces Qualifications Course

·         Must be familiar with the training and governing policies and procedures as they pertain to ASOT programs within the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM)

·         Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and top-tier interpersonal skills necessary to convey challenging nuances in the subject matter.

·         Must be able to speak clearly to perform the role, evaluate, provide AARs, and counsel trainees in the subtle and difficult concepts of the subject matter.

·         Must be able to read, write and understand English

·         Extensive role player experience.

·         Must have physical fitness levels to excel in extreme weather environments and challenging terrain including heat and cold, being able to move 6 miles a day in rough terrain, and working non-standard hours

·         CLEARANCE:  Active SECRET clearance
