The Salesforce Business Analyst is a key liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, responsible for understanding business needs, translating them into Salesforce solutions, and ensuring alignment between technology and business objectives. We're seeking Salesforce team members to help modernize and enhance an enterprise system that connects healthcare providers directly with millions of US veterans seeking clinical care. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, excellent analytical skills, and expertise in Salesforce functionality to optimize the use of the platform in achieving organizational goals. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Evaluate and document existing business processes within an organization.  

  • Analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. 

  • Document detailed and clear business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure work is completed based on exact client specification. 

  • Work closely with Salesforce administrators and developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 

  • Where needed, work with admins, developers, and architects to configure Salesforce to meet specific business needs, ensuring alignment with best practices. 

  • Collaborate on the design and implementation of new features, enhancements, and workflows. 

  • Analyze data requirements and assist in designing effective data models within Salesforce. 

  • Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce and other systems. 

  • Participate in data migration activities and maintain data integrity. 

  • As needed, develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases to validate Salesforce configurations and customizations. 

  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability and functionality of Salesforce solutions. 

  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate feedback from business stakeholders. 

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, requirements, and Salesforce configurations. 

  • Develop user guides and training materials to facilitate user adoption and understanding of new features. 

  • Provide training sessions to end-users on new features, enhancements, and changes in Salesforce. 

  • Offer ongoing support to users, addressing questions, issues, and providing guidance on best practices. 

  • Assist in project planning, including estimation, prioritization, and scheduling of deliverables. 

  • Work closely with project managers to ensure the successful delivery of Salesforce projects within scope, time, and budget. 

 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, including experience with Salesforce Lightning. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies. 

  • Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or other project management and collaboration tools. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED: 

  • An ideal candidate has served as a Business Analyst on a large Salesforce implementation and has configured Salesforce to meet business requirements. 

  • Experience working with Federal agencies is a plus. 

 EDUCATION: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field. 

 CLEARANCE:   

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
