Hudson River HealthCare (“HRHCare”) is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County. HRHCare is currently seeking a full-time Facility Maintenance Associate II to join our team in Wappingers Falls.

Under general supervision uses limited experience and judgement to perform a variety of building, custodial and maintenance duties; operate hand and power tools, across all HRHCare and Preservation locations. Available for nights and weekends as needed.       

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for a Facility Maintenance Associate II:

-Performs maintenance tasks related to basic lighting, plumbing and structure of the sites.

-Moves furniture or equipment and supplies around health center as directed.

-Maintains the outside areas of HRHC sites as needed including sidewalks and parking lots such as snow removal, etc.

-Coverage of after-hours emergencies

-Perform basic rough carpentry and plumbing functions.                           

-Operate gas-powered equipment.

-Basic knowledge of mechanical layouts (HVAC, plumbing) within HRHC sites.

-Knowledge of Joint Commission, building and NYS code compliance.

Minimum Education Requirement: High School diploma/ GED
                                                       Valid NYS Drivers License
Minimum Work Related Experience: 2-4 years
                                                          Cleaning and maintenance experience
