The Kitchen Assistants main focus is to learn and accomplish all duties set forth by the Chef. To accomplish the objective of hospitality in a safe and sanitary environment.
Strong time management/organization skills, ability to multi-task and communicate effectively in a professional manner are fundamental to the role.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and service as directed;
- Assist with maintaining par inventory levels of food and supplies, including requisitioning and moving products between buildings;
- Performance of dishwashing procedures utilizing a commercial dishwasher;
- Performance of dishwashing procedures using a 3-sink system;
- Keep and maintain a clean and orderly dish room at all times;
- Complete cleaning duties as assigned on checklists;
- Must learn, understand and practice all guidelines set forth by ServeSafe program;
- Operate various departmental equipment (ovens, mixers, fryolators, cash registers, etc);
- Follow and comprehend Instructions (recipes, company and departmental);
Requirements
- 2 years of food service or similar experience Preferred.
