Financial Counselor

Gifford Health Care is seeking a Financial Counselor to work in our Randolph, VT location.

The Financial Counselor will work with patients of Gifford Medical Center and Gifford Health Care to receive the medical care needed regardless of the ability to pay. This position will meet with and assist patients with acquiring insurance, when possible.  The Financial Counselor will also work as a navigator for the state supplied insurance for uninsured patients and work with local pharmacies to ensure coverage for needed prescriptions for patients.

Strong time management/organization skills, ability to multi-task and communicate effectively in a professional manner are fundamental to the role.
