Gifford Health Care is seeking a Teacher to work at our Child Enrichment Center in, Randolph, VT location.
The Robin’s Nest Teachers will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and health of children in care. This position will also assist in the implementation of developmentally appropriate activities, and provide positive guidance to inappropriate behaviors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment to promote the positive development of children
- Provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum to promote the physical and intellectual growth of children
- Provide positive guidance to support the social and emotional development of children
- Establish positive and productive relationships with families to provide consistency and support
- Maintain a commitment to professionalism and continue to improve as a teacher
- General knowledge and operation of basic office equipment (Computers/keyboards/fax machines/copiers/telephones)
- Follow and comprehend Instructions and direction
- Supportive and friendly to co-workers; children; parents;
- Maintain successful attendance and performance standards
- Able to meet physical demands of the position

Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in early childhood or human/child development preferred
· 21 college credits in early childhood education and two years of successful early childhood experience
· Must have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
