Echocardiography Technician

Gifford is seeking a per diem Echocardiography Technician to work in our Cardiology Department.  This is a unique opportunity to work in a spectacular setting at a rural, non-profit hospital with a progressive philosophy, transparent leadership, and supportive culture. 

The Echocardiography Technician will provide clinical services according to echocardiographic and ultrasound practice standards and acts as a resource to ensure optimal department functions. This position will administer sound patient care practices according to hospital and department policies and procedures, to ensure the safety of the patients Demonstrates safety for patients, staff and self as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines, to ensure the safety of patients and staff. He/She will maintain equipment, exam rooms and work areas in a neat and safe condition, to ensure the safety of the patients and employees.

The successful candidate will have strong time management skills and the ability to work closely with providers and staff in a high volume, fast-paced practice.  Prior experience preferred.  ARDMS or RDCS certification required. EOE
